Those of you looking for an Indian summer later this year could be in luck – Virgin Atlantic is to resume flights to Mumbai this autumn. Sir Richard Branson’s airline ceased services to the city in 2009, but will resume flights this October. A daily service from Heathrow to Mumbai will start on 28 October, operating an Airbus A330.

The Troxy, London, 16 March-14 April – A beautiful former picturehouse in London’s East End is being transformed into the world of Prohibition-era Chicago. Future Cinema, the creators of Secret Cinema, is taking it over for their special production of Bugsy Malone. As of tomorrow (March 16), visitors to The Troxy can expect a live-action boxing ring, audition studio, Fat Sam’s book shop and speak easy, a casino and treats including milkshake and popcorn stalls topped off with fire custard shooting guns, pies.
