Situated on Georgia Highway 16 East between Newnan and Senoia, Turin is just south of its sister city of Sharpsburg. A parade of antique farm monsters roll their way along pavement rather than Georgia red clay to kick off the day-long event.Complete with food and efreshments, the Antique Farm Power Show has been one of the biggest ctivities in Turin in a number of years.City offers a rich dietto feast the eyes and tomachs. Turin is full of magnificent architecture and some excellent museums, and is home to some of Italy's finest food and grandest cafes. What is now Turin was established in 1830, when early pioneers of Coweta County settled about one mile south of the site of the present town and called it Preston. |
